What: A Retreat targeting singles Muslims
Why: The purpose of this retreat will be to; a) facilitate a nurturing
environment where single Believers can fellowship and meet other singles,
b) to learn courtship principles, c) to help singles understand the factors
that go into mate selection
Expected Outcomes:
Date: Thursday, December 2, 2010 –6pm, dinner begins. Retreat ends at 11:30am on Sunday.
Site: Prescott, AZ, Friendly Pines Camp

What are the fees?
Lodging, activities, facility use, registration fee and meals: $160 total per person
There is an activity fee ($5 for Wall Climb)

Registration fees are to be made out to “Healthy Relationships” Only cash, money orders and cashiers checks will be accepted—no exceptions. If outside of the USA, please send via Western Union. If you send a check, it will be sent back, thus delaying your registration.
When are fees due? Register with $75 by June 30th to guarantee your spot. All registration fees are due by August 5th.

Who is this Conference for?
If you are single and unattached and your intentions are to get married
If you are single due to divorce or death of a spouse and want to re-marry
If you are single and in courtship or engaged and want to learn more to
prepare yourself for marriage
If you are single and not ready to marry but want more information to prepare
yourself
*You must be registered in the FOI/MGT. If you are currently processing,
you must have your X by the time of the Retreat.
Who should not attend?
If you are currently separated or in the midst of a divorce, or
If you are married (unless you are invited as part of the program or volunteer)
If you are under 18/children
Will there be a cap on participants?
Yes, our cap is 180. In addition, every effort is being made to ensure 1)
as much as possible that there are an equal number of brothers and sisters
2) that participants are in an environment conducive to meeting other singles.
What should I bring with me?
Temperatures during August are typically in the high 80s, dropping to upper 50s/low 40s at night. A jacket or sweater may be needed for evenings.
Sleeping bag or linen for your bedding
A Towel or prayer rug for prayer
Yoga mat
Appropriate attire
Friendly Pines is a Camp in the Bradshaw Mountain Range--a wooded area. The elevation is about 6300 feet. The climate is usually dry with low humidity and cool evenings.
Outdoorsy clothes are suitable for this environment. Consider that you may be involved in sports activities/physical exercise (tennis, volleyball, hiking, team building activity, etc.). Also, if you plan to work out in the morning, be sure to bring appropriate attire.

Will there be child care provided?
There will be no childcare provided at the retreat. This is to ensure that
participants are able to fully participate in all activities.
Can I participate in workshops as a presenter?
We are seeking FOI and MGT who are licensed in counseling/therapy, psychology and/or can provide best practices in the areas of communication, budgeting, merging blended families and long-distance relationships. You must demonstrate a level of expertise and complete a call for presenters form. If you are experienced in facilitating meditation or yoga, please email us.
